Hi Bryce, I reinstalled Windows & NowSMS several times recently, and the following problems occurred in every case by MMSC. First, I reinstalled NowSMS, and I did the same satting. It contain the satting of "MMSC Users". Then, I restarted NowSMS service. I submitted MMS message from UE. MMSC URL added "Alias=Password" that same "MMSC Users" setting. But, UE display "Server error", and MMSC-yyyymmdd.LOG added the error of "User Not Defined,FAILED". This error didn't occur if Windows or NowSMSC service is rebooted 5 times or more. It is very inconvenient that "MMSC Users" setting is not reflected by rebboting onece. How should I do to reflect the change in "MMSC Users" settings in the operation of service at onece? Hi Nambu, Do you have only one user defined in the "MMSC Users" list? We have never been able to determine the exact cause of this problem. However, on some systems, if there is only one user account defined, this problem will occur. If there is more than one user account defined, there will be no problems. I would love to know why this happens. But in our testing, this problem has never been consistent. In other words, it never goes wrong when we try to troubleshoot in the labs, but our experience in the field tells us that if there is only one MMSC user account defined, the system does not always detect it. | |||

Hi Brayce, I defined only one account as you said. Because I use NowSMS to test MMS, only the test user account has the neccessity. In my environment, this problem occurs without the exception. And, service moves normally at last through the restart of the service many times. When it is necessary by all means, I evade this bug by adding an extra account. However, please solve this bug early because an extra account is a source of confusion. I hope for the patch of this bug to be released without allowing to wait long. | |||

Hi Bryce, I defined an extra user account. But MMSC still puts out the error of "User Not Defined." Because the evasion plan is not effective, I want you to solve this problem all the more as soon as possible. | |||

Hi Bryce, When I posted ahead, I was defining the user account in the following order. test user account dummy user account This failed as already stated. However, I defined the user account this time in the following order. dummy user account test user account MMSC operated normally without trouble if it was this. I think that there may be a bug that cannnot normally read the first user account in MMSC as the result. | |||

Hi Bishu, We're going to start putting out interim patches at the "latestpatch" link. And then we will periodically perform a checkpoint and official release. For the moment, I don't think we're going to do a new official version number between now and 3GSM.
