Searching through our tech support archives, more customers are using various Wavecom Fastrack models than anything else ... although the Siemens MC35 does pop up quite a few times with people who are happy using it. (I haven't seen any feedback on the TC35.)

Wavecom seems to have many different models, and it is almost impossible to find any information on their web site (I heard a rumour at CTIA in March that Wavecom was going to stop supplying GSM modems to end-users and concentrating only on embedded solutions ... and that Multitech was going to use the Wavecom chipset and take over the regular "GSM modem" business, but I'm still on a waiting list to buy a GSM modem from Multitech).

Anyway, gut feel ... get something that supports GPRS to be ready for v5.0 of Now SMS/MMS. Wavecom's have the best reputation, but the Siemens MC35 is very well respected, and people are definitely using it with Now SMS/MMS.

I heard that the Wavecoms was very unstable, and i trust Siemens more than almost anyhing else.

I just ordred the MC35 right now. Should be here within 14 days. Meanwhile i will be testing on my V.dot Origo 900, and a couple of Siemens M1.

Anyone knows where to download drivers for C.Dot i'd be happy to know.

DAMN 2 WAY MMS/SMS ROCKS. IT RUNS PERFECTLY....
