This is the support forum for the Now SMS/MMS Gateway software product, so there is little that I can do to help you.

But I can tell you that my recollection of the GD87 is that it is one of the early phones to support MMS. And I remember that it didn't like MMS notifications that use a short encoding of the MMS content type. They would only recognise MMS messages if a long encoding of the MMS content type was required.

It is very possible that Orange's MMSC only supports using the short encoding in its MMS notifications. And there probably is updated firmware for the GD87 that supports the short encoding.

So, it does sound a possible to me.
