Bryce, etc I am using NOWSMS via a Nokia 6310 and trying to deliver OTA/OMA setups to a number of handsets. The problem is I have a number of handsets where the settings do no arrive irrespective of which method I use to send them (the handsets being Samsung E600, Nokia Ngage, SE P910i, Motorola C650, Motorola v980 & Nokia 6630), the messages just sit in the Q folder under /nowsms. Unfortunately I can't capture the settings directly when sent to the 6310 I am using, from another source to see where I am going wrong. Any pointers? Secondly anyone know how to send OTA settings to handsets such as the Motorola V66 and Siemans S45? Yours Simon | |||

Hi Simon, If the messages are sitting in the Q directory, then this suggests a general problem sending out SMS messages ... not just OTA messages. Are you able to send SMS text messages successfully? I'd be curious to see the SMSOUT-yyyymmdd.LOG to see what it reports about message sending attempts. (Or better yet, the SMSDEBUG.LOG which can be enabled on the "Serial #" page of the configuration dialog.) -bn | |||

Simon, I don't think I ever received those files. I've had others helping me in e-mail support, so perhaps they were inadvertantly deleted. Can you send long text messages ok? Or do those also encounter a problem? -bn | |||

Stan, This is the support site for the Now SMS/MMS Gateway software product, so I can't offer you much help on your question ... other than to suggest that you refer to the manual for your mobile phone. If you do not have a manual, you can probably locate one on the manufacturer's web site. -bn | |||
