i am trying to have nowsms find the gsm modem with the rasberry pi and sim7600 module connected through gpio connection. if i connect the sim7600 with usb cable to the rasberry pi and it finds the modem but it does not find the modem when its connected to the gpio port. any help please | |||

Hi Steve, Does it have a /dev/xxxxxxx interface? I assume it would be /dev/ttyS0? It is not at all obvious in the user interface, but when adding a GSM modem, in the field that asks for an "IP address", it is also possible to enter a a device interface. Can you try this? sweet that works thanks. question how many messages a second can it send with 1 gsm module using the gpio? i know using usb uart to computer with python script it can send 3 messages a second. I know the free version has limitations. im willing to buy it if i can send more then 3 messages a second or more then 180 messages a minute this way is that possible? |
