I tried to send syncml settings using OMA client provisioing to nokia 6600 and I am using nowsms but I got this error "- ERROR: Message Length is invalid -- SMPP –" Is there special settings that I need to do with the gateway ?? my xml file <?xml version="1.0"?> <!DOCTYPE wap-provisioningdoc PUBLIC "-//WAPFORUM//DTD PROV 1.0//EN" "http://www.wapforum.org/DTD/prov.dtd"> <wap-provisioningdoc> <characteristic type="APPLICATION"> <characteristic type="APPADDR"> <parm name="ADDR" value="http://sync.pt98.com/sync"/> <characteristic type="PORT"> <parm name="PORTNBR" value="8080"/> </characteristic> </characteristic> <characteristic type="RESOURCE"> <parm name="URI" value="./ycontact"/> <parm name="AACCEPT" value="text/x-vcard,text/vcard"/> </characteristic> <characteristic type="APPAUTH"> <parm name="AAUTHNAME" value="test"/> <parm name="AAUTHSECRET" value="test"/> </characteristic> </characteristic> Please advise if I did anything wrong please give me an explaination ,or give me any hent to continue my working. The only thing structurally wrong with your document is that it needs to have </wap-provisiongdoc> at the end. However, NowSMS will automatically correct for this, so it is not a problem. Instead, it sounds like your SMS provider is having a problem with the message. I would like to see an SMPPDEBUG.LOG that shows this message being transmitted. (Enable the SMPPDEBUG.LOG by enabling the SMSDEBUG.LOG on the "Serial #" page of the configuration dialog.) -bn | |||

Sorry, this is the support forum for the Now SMS/MMS Gateway product. I believe you would have to ask the manufacturer of that device for the specifications that you require. | |||
