hi, i would be glad if anyone could guide me on this. I bought a new nokia 6600 model. Am able to get all my sms stored straight onto the memory card for storage. BUT, The default memory for my contacts still remains to be the Phone memory. I want to change this. If anybody help me change the default memory for the "contacts" from the phone to the memory card, i'd be glad. thanks a ton in advance!! Selva

Hi, This is the support forum for the Now SMS/MMS Gateway software product, so there's little we can do to help you with this question. You'd probably be better off posting this in a more general mobile phone support forum. To the best of my knowledge, with Nokia Series 60 phones, there is no way to force them to store all contact information on the SIM. All you can do is periodically select Options/Mark/Mark All, then Options/Copy to SIM Directory. This type of situation is pretty common in most newer phones. The issue is basically that the contact manager applications in the phones is getting more complex, adding support for attributes like e-mail addresses, and other information that you couldn't store in the simple SIM directory. -bn
