Hello, I am using the latest version of NOWSMS v5.51. I have 4 smpp connections and 2 gsm modems installed. I can send and receive sms using the modems, and can also Send MMS by adding a setting in the MMS Routing Tab. I am using one modem to receive just sms which is a sony ericsoon s700i and i am using a teltonika gsm modem (not a mobile phone) in order to send and receive mms. All settings are correct in the mms receive form and test passes ok. The problem is thai i CANNOT receive mms. I have tried severall combinations of sim cards and modems. Because i read on the forum that mms receiving is not possible with mobile phone, i use the teltonica TModem COM with a nokia module inside. I have installed all drivers, and from what i have read on the forum i should be receiving sms ok, but i am not. I am including my smsdebug.log If i request a receipt when i send an mms using web interface i receive the confirmation of mms retrieval in mms in directory. This has a .hdr file sayng message was retrieved and the directory is empty. Hi, This took me awhile to figure out, because I kept expecting to see more information in the SMSDEBUG.LOG. It's just not normal that there would not be more processing performed against those received messages. But in reviewing this will a colleague, we finally realised what was unusual about those messages. The SMS sender address in those notifications is alphanumeric, and the presence of the "-" character in the sender address is confusing the 2-way SMS logic that re-assembles concatenated SMS messages (such as the MMS notifications). We've posted a patch to resolve this for the NowSMS 2006 edition. The patch can be downloaded at http://www.nowsms.com/download/patch2006.zip. However, I don't have a patch for v5.51. If you're using a trial version, download the NowSMS 2006 trial, and then apply the above referenced patch. If you purchased NowSMS in the past year, you may be eligible for a free update to NowSMS 2006. (If you are not eligible for the free update, we can still patch this for v5.51, but it will take longer to work through the development queue.) -bn | ||||
