I want to start up a SMS website that will allow users to vote, download images and ring tons. Plus, be able to interface it with a billing software. could you please help me with the requierments to setup such a solution? thanks -Ohannis | |||

Hi Ohannis, We don't offer a complete "portal" solution. And I don't really have any tutorial to point you to for more information. There are a lot of pieces that you need to put together for such an offering. Probably the most crucial piece is a connection to an SMS service provider. You'll need to evaluate the various pricing options for SMS service providers in your target region. The Now SMS/MMS Gateway is a middleware tool for SMS and MMS, which among other features, can be used to manage connections to one or more service providers; or to manage receiving SMS or MMS messages; or to perform message formatting for advanced message types such as WAP push, MMS, etc. You might end up finding NowSMS as a useful tool as part of the middleware for your site. -bn | |||
