Hi,

I need more details.

I don't know what type of connection you are defining. (SMPP, HTTP, ???)

For an SMPP connection, there shouldn't be any problem leaving the password (or username field) blank, if that is what the provider requires.

The SMPP protocol does require a bind step. But if you leave either or both of these fields blank, we will send the blank value in the bind request.

I think you will need to ask your provider why the request is failing ... because a blank password (or even a blank username) should not cause any problem.

Could it be that the nowsms is a trail version. Do you know any other SMPP program I can try?

No, there would be no difference because this is a trial version.

I think you need to talk to your provider to ask why the login is failing. Since you login without a password, I suspect that the provider must require that you login only from a specific IP address. Perhaps that is not provisioned correctly at the provider.

Unfortunately, I don't know what else to suggest ... you should ask your provider why the login is being rejected.
