Hi, I need more details. I don't know what type of connection you are defining. (SMPP, HTTP, ???) -bn

For an SMPP connection, there shouldn't be any problem leaving the password (or username field) blank, if that is what the provider requires. The SMPP protocol does require a bind step. But if you leave either or both of these fields blank, we will send the blank value in the bind request. I think you will need to ask your provider why the request is failing ... because a blank password (or even a blank username) should not cause any problem. -bn

Could it be that the nowsms is a trail version. Do you know any other SMPP program I can try?

No, there would be no difference because this is a trial version. I think you need to talk to your provider to ask why the login is failing. Since you login without a password, I suspect that the provider must require that you login only from a specific IP address. Perhaps that is not provisioned correctly at the provider. Unfortunately, I don't know what else to suggest ... you should ask your provider why the login is being rejected. -bn |
