Hi, I haven't personally tested it, but based upon its specifications and the behaviour of similar Nokia devices, I would expect it to work for both sending and receiving SMS. My notes show that it can be used via USB with a DKU-5 cable. -bn | |||

The information that I posted above applies equally to the 6610 and 6610i. Regarding the Nokia 2650, it probably will NOT work, but you should check the Nokia web site to see if it has any support for being used as a data modem, as I might not be correct. My experience in the past has been that entry level 1xxx and 2xxx model number phones do not support a GSM modem interface. -bn | |||
