I need to send an sms which contains a url like http://host/path.html . Now, when the user receives this url as an sms message, he should be able to click on the link in the message? What is this feature called, WAP push? I tried the webinterface to send it as both OTA Bookmark and WAP Push. The log file shows that the message has been sent OK. But the device did not receive any thing. Thanks

That's a WAP push message. Does the recipient mobile phone support WAP push? (most modern phones do) Are you able to send other SMS messages through the gateway to that recipient mobile phone? What type of SMSC connection are you using?

Do you want to know the actual vendors who supplied SMSCs to those mobile operators? That I do not know. Or are you looking for an SMS service provider that you can sign up with to send SMS messages to those operators? We don't recommend any particular providers, but I will mention that I have used both Clickatell and Mobileway to send SMS in the US. (Clickatell can only handle text based SMS messages.) I've had a customer in the US tell me that they are using TSI Connections. For low to medium volumes, sending through a GSM modem can be a cost effective alternative in the US ... as the prices that operators charge to send SMS from a mobile phone (and the bundles of included SMS that you can buy) are cheaper than many service providers. However, the GSM modem approach is usually only good for text messages due to a lack of binary SMS interoperability in the US.

Sorry, but you've come to the wrong place. We do not offer such a service. The Now SMS/MMS Gateway is a software product that is used as a middleware component when connecting to an SMS service. We do not provide an SMS service. http://www.nowsms.com/support/faq.htm#WhatdoIneedtoinstallyoursoftware |
