Sir, How to make sure that all messages from the ESME to the SMSC (submit_sm) shall include the optional SMPP field user_message_reference. Said field shall have a sequential number between 0000 and FFFF. Care shall be taken to insure that the acount not always be started/account not always be initiated[i] with the same number to avoid two messages having the same value in said field. thanks and regards Shiby | |||

Shiby, NowSMS does not generate this parameter. It is possible to configure NowSMS so that it supports this parameter if it is generated by a client that is submitting messages to NowSMS. However, NowSMS will NOT generate a value for this parameter. -- Malcolm Now Wireless Support P.S. - From this and other message postings, it sounds like you have very specific (and somewhat unusual) requirements.
