I brought the LG chocolate phone last week. I want to send a photo to my boyfriend whos away this week. I know how to add pictures and everything using MMS. Everything is fine there. However, when I send the message, it says ''Sending'' and then a message comes up saying ''Error sending message'', then when I look in my outbox the message is there but it says it has failed to send. My boyfriend''s phone does recieve MMS because I used to send him stuff via MMS on my previous phone. I have tried sending all types of images, sounds, videos etc and everything (even a blank MMS message) to other phones but the same thing happens. It is driving me mad! I need to be able to send MMS messages! Please help Love Lara | |||

Sorry Lara, This is the support forum for the Now SMS/MMS Gateway ... which is a software product. It's not a general support forum for mobile phones. It sounds like your mobile phone is not properly configured with its MMS settings. If you purchased this phone at a shop, then I'd suggest you take it back and ask them to set it up properly. Basically, these MMS settings are different depending on which mobile operator you are using. So if you bought a phone that was originally configured for use with one mobile operator, and you're using it with a different one, then it's MMS settings need to be changed. Check your mobile operator's web site to see if they have a facility for sending settings to you over the air. Or they might have an info page about configuring MMS settings in different phones. Failing that, refer to the documentation for your phone (if you don't have a manual, there's probably one available for download from the phone manufacturer web site) ... and then you need to search down the correct MMS settings for your mobile operator. Generally speaking, you need to know the APN (access point name), MMS Server URL (e.g., http://something/something), a proxy address and port, and sometimes a username and password. Good luck. -bn |
