Hello!
New to the forum. I am trying to determine 2 things.
I can transmit and receive SMS.
I transmit MMS, and I receive the confirmation message, but I never receive the MMS to the mobile device.
I am using the following wireless modems:
iTengno GPRS
MultiTech Systems USB GSM_GPRS
Also, how do I enable debugging.

OK, I figured out where the debug logs are:
Serial # Tab
Log options are at the bottom of the pane.

I have the same problem, I can transmit and receive SMS, but with the MMS only receive the notification message saying that there's a MMS to download, and never get the MMS directly, and when the device tries to download the mms, it get errors, or get it several hours after.
I'm using a sony ericsson v800 connected by USB.
Thank you.

Solved for me.
It was a problem of the network. The 3G network had some problems because the operator is setting up some things. I changed the mobile phone to 2G mode, and everything is working properly. The mobile downloads automatically (because it's configured for that) all the mms.

Antonio:

Post if you continue to have problems with this. I have several configurations running now.

Ok, when I solved the problem, and what it happened to me was a problem with the 3G network, I only changed to 2G network and it worked perfectly downloading the MMS.

Thanks whiskyconorujo, I originally I was trying on a 3g phone, then I read your post so I swapped my phone to a GSM but Im still getting the same results. I think it could be the structure of the files I have to attatched to the mms post that could be the problem. Have you got a basic mms that works with yours so I can test if that is the case. Thanks

Daniel:

Have you properly defined an MMSC Route?

Robert.

Robert can you please confirm if 3G cards have issues sending MMS.
I have trouble with Cingular Aircard 860 which is having trouble sending MMS!

Daniel...further to Robert's suggestion...make sure to define an "MMSC Routing" in NowSMS to have the message sent out via the operator MMSC.

If you don't, NowSMS will try to act as an MMSC, and with most network operators, this means that the sender will receive an MMS notification, but won't be able to access the message content. (Some phones don't display the notification if the content is not accessible, they just hide it ... others will display the notification which sounds like what you are experiencing.)
