Hiya! I am an absolute newbie, I have credits with Clickatel and I've set up Smsnow v 2006 10.31. It's apparently connected but it's not sending any sms's via your web interface. I have followed the set-up instructions on this thread http://support.nowsms.com/discus/messages/1/136.html#POST403 That seems to make sure the software side is okay... it says it's connected, "now try sending an sms." I'm using the service from Australia and putting +61 before the phone number (dropping the 0) Do you have any suggestions as to where I'm going wrong? Thanks :-) Sharyn | |||

Hi Sharyn, Unfortunately, you pretty much have to look at the SMSDEBUG.LOG to troubleshoot HTTP SMSC connections. Enable the SMSDEBUG.LOG on the "Serial #" page of the NowSMS configuration. Try sending another message. Open the SMSDEBUG.LOG, and it will show you the exact URL that NowSMS is trying to execute. Cut and paste that URL into a web browser. Does that web browser report an error? The error that is displayed in the web browser might point out the problem. Chances are that there is a typo in the URL template somewhere, or the user account information is not specified in the URL correctly. -bn |
