I do not understand your question. This is what I think you are saying ... You have a mobile phone connected to your PC, and you are using that mobile phone as a GSM modem for NowSMS. When you send an SMS message to the mobile phone, the message is displayed in the mobile, but does not get picked up by NowSMS. Unfortunately, the GSM modem implementation in many Nokia mobile phones (particularly Series 60 phones, but it appears that newer Series 40 phones have a similar limitation) supports the use of the GSM modem interface for sending messages only. Received SMS messages go to the inbox of the mobile phone, and are not routed over the GSM modem interface. Unfortunately, that is a limitation of the GSM modem implementation in these phones. If you are using a different type of modem device, you can try different settings for the "SMS Message Storage" options in NowSMS. One of these different settings might allow the messages to be routed properly over the GSM modem interface. Unfortunately, many mobile phones do not have a complete GSM modem interface ... the designers of the phones tend to focus on sending protocols only, not receiving. -bn | |||

I'm sorry, I do not think you understand what I am saying. The "SMS Message Storage" option defines how NowSMS interfaces with the modem, for NowSMS to receive messages from the modem. NowSMS delivers received SMS messages to your program using its 2-way command facility which is described at the following links: http://www.nowsms.com/documentation/ProductDocumentation/2_way_sms_support.htm http://support.nowsms.com/discus/messages/1/4520.html Regarding the Hindi language, as I have mentioned previously, you must use the UTF-8 character set when interfacing with NowSMS for sending/receiving Hindi text. |
