Unfortunately, the only option at this time (in NowSMS 2007 only), is to enable the "Web Account Administration" facility. Then request the URI "/ADMIN/STATUS" from the NowSMS web port, passing an "Authorization:" header that supplies HTTP basic authentication for the admin user name & password.

The response is a simple HTML form, and you need to look for the text after "SMSC Status:". "All Connections OK" means everything is ok. If there are any errors on any interfaces, the interface name will appear, followed by " : " and status information ... followed by a carriage return/line feed. There may be multiple lines of error information if multiple connections appear to be off-line.

We are looking at other programmatic API interfaces for supplying this status information, but this is what is available now.
