When the “From” field in the MMS is blank the notificaton and m-retriev-conf is populated with 89 02 80 00. I checked this in the OMA spec and found this: Document - OMA-MMS-ENC v 1.2 Field Name – From Field Value – From value Description If hiding the address of the sender from the recipient is requested by the originating MMS Client and supported and accepted by the MMS Proxy-Relay, the MMS Proxy-Relay MUST NOT add this field to the M-Retrieve.conf and M-Notification.ind PDU.
