New ADSL connection - Nowsms does not read SearchSearch

Hi I have been using nowsms for a while now to allow users of my website to send sms which was working fine via my virgin media internet connection ip address which was located in my nowsms application in the "WEB" 'ip address for web interface' option, however i just changed broadband provider to plusnet broadband and my new IP does not show up in my nowsms application WEB option! Which means now my users cannot send sms, there is a IP showing but that is my PC ip and not my broadband ip so connections to that just time out. Is there a way to manually get nowsms to know my new ip so that my website can connect to it?

Hi David,

Are you behind a router? If so, the router would need to be configured to perform port forwarding to your PC?

Some broadband providers do not allow you to accept inbound connections on port 80 (you may be able to use an alternate port of 8080).

I would suggest leaving the IP Address field set to "(All Available)". Usually you only need to use this parameter in very special circumstances.
