Hi there Bryce and Des,

Thank you for being so generous with your wisdom and experience about SMS and telecom information.

We are looking to hook up a few modems to a server and need to know what's the best configuration to do that??

Most Sincerely,

Nathan

Hi Nathan,

I don't know that there's any real "best configuration".

A basic PC with XP or Vista will be sufficient. I tend to prefer a PC with plenty of USB ports instead of having to use a hub (you can't avoid USB hubs if you have a large number of modems, for simpler configurations I just try to avoid them as they are one more thing that can go wrong).

Any configuration considerations in particular that you would like more input on?
