Hi, Ive set up and tested my modem successfully, then when I try to start the service is says "Administrator rights are required for service installation". Im running a standalone machine and im the only person its registered to. Does anyone know what the cause of this is? :-( | |||

Hi Jay, I suspect that you're running on Windows 95, 98 or ME. Unfortunately, we only support Windows NT/2000/XP/2003. This error will occur if you try to use the software on Windows 95, 98 or ME. It can also occur if you are using a user account on the PC that has restricted abilities to install services. But that is not likely the case for your setup. -bn | |||
