This is the question: when i submit a short (less than 160 char) message via smpp this is send immediatly, when i submit a long one (more than 160 char) the first go away immediatly the second whait from 30 to 40 seconds. Hi, Are you running a trial version of the product? If you originally downloaded NowSMS from a web site other than www.nowsms.com, you may have downloaded a so-called "crack" or "warez" versions. (Note: I'm not accusing you of doing anything dishonest ... in many cases, people are just following a download link from a friend, and don't even realise that it is not legitimate.) In addition to potentially containing viruses (which is often the case when we investigate these downloads), many of these so-called cracks limit the SMS processing speed to 1 message per minute, even though the "Serial #" page of NowSMS may say otherwise. Here's what I'd recommend: Un-install NowSMS. Make sure the NowSMS program directory is deleted after you un-install. Re-install a fresh copy of the trial version of NowSMS or NowSMS Lite, available for download from http://www.nowsms.com/downloads/smsmmsgateway.htm. Yes it's true, i'm using a trial version, but the troughput not is on 30 sms/min ?? I'm sending only a "long" message (max 2/3) in a minute ... so ? | |||

If you originally downloaded it from another web site, there may be a problem like I described. There is also a possible problem if you were sent a trial extension code. (We have had several instances of sales people sending out old format trial extension codes which have the effect of putting the current version into a 1 msg/min mode.) Here's what you should do. Make sure the "Serial #" page has no serial numbers listed. If there are any entries, try to remove them. If you do remove any entries here, restart the NowSMS service to see if this resolves the problem. If there are no serial numbers listed, there may still be a problem with the install if it wasn't downloaded from our web site. Un-install NowSMS. Make sure the NowSMS program directory is deleted after you un-install. Re-install a fresh copy of the trial version of NowSMS or NowSMS Lite, available for download from http://www.nowsms.com/downloads/smsmmsgateway.htm. If this problem persists after a re-install, post a screen capture of the "Serial #" page. -- Des NowSMS Support |
