Hi, I'm not sure how to help you because I do not understand where you are stuck. Sending the e-mail alerts can be difficult because NowSMS sends e-mail using SMTP, and it may be necessary to configure some SMTP settings before this will work properly. NowSMS sends SMTP using its MMSC service. Do you have the MMSC service enabled? There can also be a problem where the MMSC service won't start if its configured "HTTP Port Number" cannot be allocated. Check this value in the "MMSC" configuration settings, and make sure it is set to a port different from the "port number for web interface". If that's not it, then there's a DNS problem, and the MMSC is not able to perform DNS lookups for routing the e-mail alerts. If you UNcheck "Enable SMTP Smart Mailer", and define your mail server as the "SMTP Relay Host", then the MMSC won't do its own DNS lookups, and will just route all pending e-mail via your mail server. -- Des NowSMS Support |
