hello, i wonder is possible to use nowsms as Emulator to test my client Application have developed VASP mm7 client if i download nowsms and install it on my pc will it work with my client ?? thank you | |||

Hi, I'm not sure that I'd call it an emulator. But if you hook up a phone to it (or another type of SMS connection ... although a GSM/GPRS phone/modem is better for MMS delivery with many operator setups), it can route your MM7 request out as an actual MMS message. -bn | |||

Thank you that mean it can parse PDU ,,,??? what if i want rout message to e-mail address is that possible without have gsm modem or gprs phone etc...??/ how can i make setting for it ??? Thanks | |||

I'm not sure what you mean by that. What I mean is that NowSMS will accept and process an MM7 (submit or deliver) request. See: http://www.nowsms.com/documentation/ProductDocumentation/mms_notifications_and_c ontent/Submitting_MMS_Messages_MM7.htm
That should work. I can't say that I've tried it myself, but if the recipient of the MM7 message is an e-mail address, we should route it via e-mail. NowSMS does require that the address of an SMTP Relay Host be configured, as it will route all outbound mail through an SMTP Relay Host for delivery. (Otherwise, outbound mail will just back up in the MMSCOUT subdirectory.) |
