Read the post about someone trying to send colour Op-Logos needing to alter the Content-Type MIME header - is there actually a way of doing this?

The way I get my wallpapers is to direct my phone via GPRS to the file on my webpage, it then automatically downloads it, I want to do the same with Operator logo graphics, so the files will need to be pre-prepared as logo files.

Does anyone know of a little applet that can do this, or a way of changing the header? I have a SpMIDI applet which alters my ringtone midi files.

I have a Nokia 3510i

Emma,

I assume you are referring to the following thread:

The MIME content-type header is generated by your web server.

The way that it typically works is that the web server is configured to map particular file extensions to a particular MIME content type.

For example, ".htm" and ".html" are generally mapped to "text/html". ".jpg" is generally mapped to "image/jpeg".

You need to define an extension for your Nokia colour operator logos, and map them to the "image/vnd.nok-oplogo-color" MIME type. I believe the ".nol" extension is normally used for this.

How this is done depends upon what web server you are using.
