Hello there, I am interested in this product, but I could not find a solution to my problem. I would like to convert the 127.0.0.1:8800 to an address so it will be accesible through internet, or a way to make this possible. Is there a way? And if it is, how to do it? Thank you very much. Also provide me with info on how to buy this product. | |||

This is a TCP/IP networking issue. It is not specific to NowSMS. NowSMS is a specialised web server. By default, it is listening to whatever IP addresses are assigned to the PC on which it is running. We just use 127.0.0.1 or localhost in examples, because that is the local loopback address that works on the local machine. If you are behind a router, in order to access the server via the internet, you need to configure port forwarding on your router. (And if your internet connection has a dynamic IP address, then you need to use a dynamic DNS service such as no-ip.com or dyndns.org to get a host name that automatically follows your IP address.) -- Des NowSMS Support |
