If I have kept my mobile connected via bluetooth to nowsms software & sms is being sent & if the light goes, so will my sms sending will continue from the end it left or it will start from beginning? | |||

Please tell me that my nowsms software is sending a particular sms to a group of people but after it I typed in a new sms & submitted to nowsms software. My question is: Will the software start sending the new sms immediately or will first complete the first one then send the new one? | |||

This is complicated. You need to ask for a delivery report when submitting the message (or you can enable it for all messages). Keep in mind that NowSMS is only one link in the process. Whatever SMSC ultimately delivers the message needs to send a delivery report or failure report back. When you request a delivery report, you can only know that a message has been delivered if a successful delivery report is received back for that message. In normal situations, it will complete sending the first one before moving on to the next. There are exceptions to this, and they are related to the "Separate outbound message queues for each user" setting on the "SMS Users" page of the configuration. Submit the higher priority messages using a different user account than your bulk message submissions. NowSMS will maintain a separate message queue for each different user account that is submitting messages. NowSMS will ensure that if more messages are waiting in a queue than the "User Queue Size Threshold", that it services other user message queues so that one or more large bulk submissions does not cause all other message submissions to wait. Since you're using a modem, let's say for example that you have an outbound capacity of 10 messages per minute. If you set this value to "10", it would mean that after 10 messages are sent from the user message queue that sent a bulk message, NowSMS would then go to service messages in other user queues. On higher speed SMSC connections, you would use a much higher value than "10", because the process of switching user queues does have a performance impact. -bn NowSMS Support | |||
