Hi Des, I have a very little question about the Delivery Receipts received from a SMSC. NowSMS parse and remap all the fields inside a DR? For example, if a SMSC send a DR to NowSMS, the SMSC error code is sent back to the NowSMS client? Regards, Miguel Fernández. | |||

Hi Miguel, If an SMPP based SMSC sends a standard format delivery receipt (starts with "id:"), then NowSMS will only modify the message ID in the receipt, it will leave other values, including the error code, as is. If the text of the receipt is not in standard format, but the TLV parameters indicate an error, NowSMS inserts an error code of 999. Another consideration ... if the SMSC rejects the message at the time of submission, NowSMS generates a non-delivery receipt, and the error code from the SMPP submit_sm_resp is inserted as the "err:" code. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||
