Hi Des, I have a question about the received messages from our SMSC. All messages we can receive from it are only Delivery Receipts, but the SMS-IN directory contains a lot of of messages (DR's too) and we are not using 2-Way. It seem to be a problem with the mapping between messages IDs from SMSCs and to the ESMEs, because we have messages requesting a DR without one. Could you say me something about this behaviour? Hi Miguel, If you are receiving delivery reports that were not asked for, then NowSMS will not know how to route them back to the sending user ... so they will end up in the SMS-IN queue. The reason for this is because if NowSMS does not ask for a delivery receipt, it does not add the message ID to the receipt ID tracking database. The only way around this is to always ask for a delivery receipt. There are two ways to do this ... 1.) If you want to do this for all connections, add DeliveryReceiptFlag=1 under an [SMPP] header in SMSGW.INI. This will effect all SMPP connections. 2.) If you only need to do this for a single connection, edit SMSGW.INI, and under the [SMPP - server:port] header for that connection, add DefaultDelReceipt=Yes -- Des NowSMS Support |
