I just had a brief question about your produce. We recently got the SMS operational and were looking at seting up MMS messaging as well. With SMS each outbound message has a unique tag to it, and when responded to, that tag is returned. If we sent an MMS and got a response back, and we wish to use PHP to push it back onto our webserver, would it contian the unique ID to match the outbound txt?

This is important to us to track responses from individuals uniquily and were wondering if this was possible with MMS as with the SMS VIA http post or any other method

Hi Brian,

Apologies for the delay in response. I didn't get a notification of your posting because of some web site problems last week.

Are you talking about delivery reports or actual user responses? It sounds like you are talking about actual user responses, however what you describe is not possible in SMS for user responses, only delivery reports. (MMS doesn't have this capability for user responses either, but you can use unique subject headers in MMS to achieve this effect.)

Because of this, I'm guessing that you are referring to delivery reports.

NowSMS does track the message IDs in MMS like it does in SMS.

However, unfortunately, we do not have a way to push it to you via PHP. Currently, the MMS delivery reports cannot be routed via a PHP script ... they can only be processed via the file/directory based interface. I posted some information about this scenario in another thread: http://support.nowsms.com/discus/messages/12/59980.html
