Hello list, I am using Nowsms 2011-07-05 I have setup a gsm modem with a 2 way command *@* mailto:@@SMSPREFIX@@ When i send an sms to my gsm modem starting with an email address, i correctly get an email. The problem is that sender of email comes as +XXXXXXXXXXXX@myemaildomain.com. When trying to reply to this email, my sms gets rejected because it cannot find user +XXXXXXXXXXXX because it is looking for XXXXXXXXXXXX. MMSC users are added with no "+" in the beggining of their phonenumbers. I have added in MMSC.ini RemovePlusFromEMail=Yes but it does not work. Am i doing something wrong, or i should change mmsc users phonenumbers and add a "+" infront of it Thank you in advance Regards Dinos | |||

Hi Dinos, Unfortunately the 2-way command processor does not consult the RemovePlusFromEMail=Yes setting. So it will always include a "+" in the e-mail sender address. On the e-mail receiving side, the expectation is that the phone numbers have been added starting with the "+" character. Assuming a user defined as +XXXXXXXXXXXX, it will accept XXXXXXXXXXXX@myemaildomain.com or +XXXXXXXXXXXX@myemaildomain.com. However, if the user is defined as XXXXXXXXXXXX, it will only accept XXXXXXXXXXXX@myemaildomain.com. -- Des NowSMS Support |
