Hi Des I just had a look at the admim web interface. Found a strange thing If i edit the user for any function. Lets say i enable or disable SMPP access for NowSMS user or enable or disable "accept incomming messages" the NowSMS users credits get increased by 1 sms. As soon as i save the changes i get "Credits Updated " message. This doesnt happen if i edit the nowsms user account directly on the server. Happens only via the admin web interface. Checked this in IE and Chrome both. Can you kindly check at your side? Thanks Sam

Hi Sam, That is definitely an annoying little bug. I was able to update the HTML template to default the credits to add value to 0, which works around this problem. You can replace the NEWSMSUSER.HTM template file in the WEBADMIN subdirectory of Program Files\NowSMS with the one in the attached ZIP.

Thanks Des. This works. One thing i noticed in the change you did. Previously after editing the user i used to stay/remain on the same edit user section. While now after i edit the user with the updated page i get redirected to the "SMS Users" Page. I believe it should stay on the edit user page only and not get redirected to "SMS Users" Was something else also changed? Kindly let me know Thanks Sam

Hi Sam, It is working as intended. It only stayed on the same screen before because the user credits were updated. -- Des NowSMS Support

Hi Sam, A follow-up. The update at http://www.nowsms.com/download/nowsms20111018.zip provides a fix for this problem, without requiring the HTML edit. -- Des NowSMS Support |
