Hi,

I am confused about SMPP ton values and number formats.

Here is my situation.

When I submit messages, I must use source_addr_ton and dest_addr_ton values of 1 to indicate international number format.

I see that I can set these values in the NowSMS configuration under the advanced settings for an SMPP connection.

That is ok, but only if my end users include the country code in the number. If the number is in normal local number format, it will fail to send.

Can NowSMS convert the local number to international number? Apply a default country code perhaps?

Thanks for any assistance.

Hi Ogden,

Yes.

If you have any specific questions about how to configure the conversions that you need to make, please reply back with examples of the number formats you need to deal with.
