We recently switched our exchange to office 365. Has anyone out there got nowsms to work with office 365? What setting do I need to change?

Hi,

Were you using NowSMS via email with Exchange Server before?

How was it configured?

Office 365 is hosted by Microsoft in the cloud, right? Generally speaking, the "Shared Mailbox" configuration in the 2014 release of NowSMS is the easiest to setup. Previous versions only supported the "SMS Domain Name" configuration, which works the same as it always has ... if it was working and no longer works, perhaps the MX record for the SMS domain name in DNS changed when you switched to Office 365, or perhaps you had some other email forwarding configured in Exchange Server that no longer exists.

You may need to start over with the email setup. If you can explain how email is configured in NowSMS, I can provide some pointers. But basically NowSMS is a receiver so the hard part is configuration external to NowSMS.

We have a document that explains the configuration options for e-mail to SMS gateway support here: http://www.nowsms.com/email-to-sms-mms-gateway-with-nowsms

For the "Shared Mailbox" configuration, Office 365 POP3/IMAP/SMTP settings can be found here: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook-help/settings-for-pop-and-imap-access- for-office-365-for-business-or-microsoft-exchange-accounts-HA102908389.aspx
