Hi, i installed NowSMSModem on my android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and the status is Active, then i run Now Sms Lite on my pc windows 7, but it cannot connect to the mobile, even if i digit the ip address of mobile 192.168.0.3:8990 (the IP of PC is 192.168.0.9 so they are on the same network) So what can i do? Another question is, what is the costs of full license? | |||

Hi, Have you tried the 2014.12.12 interim release of the app? It is at the bottom of this page: http://www.nowsms.com/download-free-trial It fixes an issue that one customer reported where the modem show up on the list at the PC side, but the connection failed. (See http://support.nowsms.com/discus/messages/33365/72739.html) If you have an earlier version of the app installed, power the phone off and back on after installing the update. Can you ping 192.168.0.3 from the PC? If possible, verify that your WiFi access point doesn't have isolation mode enabled. -- Des NowSMS Support |
