What is the context in which this error occurs? I assume this is occurring for messages being sent via an outbound SMSC connection? Historically, this error code is used to tell the submitting application to slow down the rate at which it is sending messages. But in common use, this error is often used whenever there is any temporary problem at the SMPP server. One common scenario is that many SMSC will only hold a few waiting messages for a recipient number. The expected error code in that scenario is ESME_RMSGQFUL (receive message queue full), but often a throttling error will be returned instead. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||
