We have set up a pair of "Now SMS/MMS Gateway v2015.06.24" servers to use a sharedvolume.ini with a network share behind a load balancer so that we have some redundancy built into our environment. The machines are VMs and were cloned before installing NowSMS. The "Installation Reference Code" for both machines is the same.

One of the servers is licensed and the other is using a trial. My question is can I apply the License to both machines or do I need to have a separate one for each VM.

If I need a separate one do I need to and how would I get a different "Installation Reference Code" since I know we use that to get the License key.

Hi James,

I won't wish you a good night as someone has beat me to it. I am always amused by the random individual that somehow thinks that if they post a message here it will magically be sent as a text to some other random individual.

Your configuration does require separate licenses. Even with the same IRC, there will be unique activation codes.

In some cases, we do allow license splits. It's probably best to discuss this with someone like Keith or Sally in our office. If you want to email keith (at) nowsms.com, he can help sort through options.
