My SMSC providers says NOWSMS is not sending SAR information in Optional values TLV. Can somebody indicate me how to fix this. | |||

We always encode SAR information in the UDH directly. If your provider requires that it be put in the optional TLV, we could easily add a configuration option to support this. (However, engineering time would likely take about a week.) If you would like to pursue this, please send an e-mail to nowsms@now.co.uk with "Attention: Bryce" in the subject line, referencing this discussion thread. Also in the e-mail, please tell me what SMS service provider you are using, and provide any technical information that the provider has given to you. | |||

Follow-up: NowSMS v5.51b has a configuration option to put segmentation and re-assembly (SAR) and source/destination port number into the optional SMPP TLV (tag/length/value) parameters, instead of directly encoding in the UDH (user data header).
