I have used Nokia3100 to set as the modem for NowSMS. But it seems that Nokia3100 can not support NowSMS.Could you give me a list of cell phones support the NowSMS gateway? | |||

This is not a definitive list, but it's a good start: http://support.nowsms.com/discus/messages/1/4218.html In most cases, you want to see if the phone supports the ability to be used as a modem. If that is not a feature of the phone, then it definitely won't work. There are a few phones that support the ability to be used as a modem, but that do not implement the AT command set for sending SMS (also known as "GSM 07.05 support") ... these are primarily smart phones, including the SonyEricsson P800/P900/P910 and Microsoft smart phones. Nokia smart phones also have a limitation that they can be used to send SMS as a modem, but not receive SMS. (More details on them in the thread that I referenced above.) But aside from these limitations of "so-called" smart phones, the issue is usually a question of whether or not the phone has support for being used as a modem. -bn | |||
