I want to have multiple providers for a single number due to the different capabilities that they provide. Is is technically possible? I understand that there is some global database where a number gets registered. So want to confirm if this can be done or not. | |||

Generally speaking, you could have the same shortcode on multiple networks. But a public number is going to be registered to a provider so that you receive messages via that provider only. Other providers might allow you to send out with that number as originator, but that is country dependent (due to laws and operator agreements). -- Des NowSMS Support | |||
