I am using NowSMS lite with Qualcomm USB modem 6000. Albe to send SMS and MMS. But not received MMS. | ||||

Hi, Does the status page show any SMS being received when you send an MMS message to the device? (Binary SMS messages would also be present in the log.) These messages trigger MMS delivery. If you see these types of messages, we need to see your SMSDEBUG.LOG to understand why they are not being processed. If you don't see any messages, it suggests the SIM is not provisioned for MMS (even though you can send). Some operators will not deliver MMS messages to modems (because they assume the modem cannot support it). If you use a SIM that was originally provisioned for a phone in the modem, you can often get around this. This issue is one of the reasons that we developed the android modem interface (over WiFi). There is no question with the mobile operator that Android devices can support MMS...and NowSMS can also send/receive SMS+MMS with Android devices, without confusing the mobile operator. -- Des NowSMS Support | ||||

After i send MMS to modem, this is log that i found. It shows that: 12:13:42:844 [17] ReceiveModemCommand: Received New Message Notification.

Hi, This is a very interesting observation. Please try the updated version of NowSMS Lite at https://www.nowsms.com/download/litetest.zip This update adds more debug info to report what triggered this "Received New Message Notification". It will be interesting to see how this debug info differs between the SMS that is seen and the MMS that is not. My guess is that the modem firmware has a bug storing binary messages...and you could partially get around this by changing the "SMS Message Storage" setting to "Direct to Modem". Please get an SMSDEBUG.LOG with the update before you try this setting. If this setting works, I don't think will be perfect. NowSMS has to exit command mode to perform the actual MMS sending or receiving...during this time, the modem needs to be able to store these notifications, so that they are available to NowSMS when the MMS transmission is complete. -- Des NowSMS Support | ||||
