Hi,

Which user agent is been used when sending MMS through an Android phone with your android application ?

Is there any way to control/change it ?

Hi Thomas,

For devices running Android 4.4 or later, we use the user agent and profile of the actual device.

For older devices, I believe we are using an older iPhone user agent string.

To change these settings for older devices, edit MMSC.INI and under the [MMSC] header add:

HeaderUserAgent=iPhoneOS/4.2.1 (8C148)
HeaderProfile=http://iphonemms.apple.com/iphone/uaprof-2MB.rdf

These settings are only used when the app cannot retrieve the actual device settings in Android versions before 4.4.
