Hi, I use the Now.WAP proxy and NowSMS/MMS software for demoing MMS and WAP/WML browsing. For the WAP browsing, a seperate external Apache Server is used and the "Route Connections via external HTTP Proxy Server" option is checked and filled in appropriately to faciliate correct proxying... however if this option is enabled when doing MMS message sending to a phone, it seems that upon the phone receiving the notification binary SMS and activating a PDP-Context to retrieve the MMS message, the MMS download request sent from the phone seems to also be forwarded to Apache, and the phone finally times-out with the error that either the MMS does not exist or has expired... If the external HTTP proxy is disabled then MMS works fine again straight away. I was wondering if it was possible to somehow keep this option fixed on, and still have MMS messaging working properly? Pls How an I use you utility /Help to develop Email to phone programme without any restriction so that my client an use their exitting Email address. e.g SMTP and so on not restricted to only POP3 and IMAP. Thanks Expeting ypour reply soonest Henry | |||||

Just loaded Now.WAP proxy server and using both a sony/ericsson t68i and Nokia 6610i mobile phones and gprs data service, I connect to the gprs service and see PDP activity and get loading displayed on mobile, but no pages are displayed and I get communication error, try again or check your settings. In the service tab and service info window the requests increase and so do inbound and outbound bytes at each attempt. I'm using a HTTP proxy on another computer on my network, both Now.SMS/MMS and Now.WAP are loaded on a single computer with the HTTP on another, enclosed are the logs! The NowWAP is on 172.16.20.26 and the HTTP proxy in on 172.16.20.2:8080 Any help would be great, Thanks!
