Hi all, I dont have a GSM modem. I want to send WAP messages. Can i use any phone as GSM modem? If possible please let me know it. Thanks | |||

Yes, you can send WAP Push messages using a GSM modem. However, some mobile operators (most notably ATT USA) do not allow them. Not all phones have GSM modem capabilities. If you need to both send and receive SMS messages, a dedicated GSM modem device is recommended. (Some example devices can be found here: http://www.nowsms.com/tag/gsm-modem) As far as phones go, Blackberry and iPhone devices do NOT have GSM modem support.
