i installed nowsms lite and android.apk. when some sms are received, the nowsms lite is not running. when i run the nowsms, the received sms are not routed to nowsms lite. how could i retrieve them? | |||

another question: if i send a lot of numbers, will nowsms wait the completion of android modem before nowsms sends another number to android modem? | |||

another question: according to your log, it has mmsin and mmsout eg. mmsin, 13:50:19 mmsout, 13:50:30 is the mmsout time the time you sent the mms to android modem or the time the mms is sent by android modem? | |||

Hi Peter,
They are lost. It is expected that the NowSMS server will always be running. That said, before we remove the "beta" label, we will make a change to have the Android app save the messages until NowSMS is available again. That is still a planned enhancement.
SMS still have to be sent one at a time over the air, so yes. MMS can be sent to multiple recipients in one transaction. (iPhone and Android usually use MMS when sending to multiple recipients, even if the message is all text. There is a group messaging setting in the messaging client that controls this. NowSMS forces you to make a distinction whether SMS or MMS is used.)
MMSOUT is recorded when the message has been accepted by the operator MMSC. So the Android modem has completed transmitting at this time. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||

Hi Peter,
This issue is now fixed. The NowSMS Modem api now holds received messages if the NowSMS server is unavailable and delivers them when the server is again available. The latest version of the app identifies itself with version 2014.05.05. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||
