I change to use J5 prime andriod 6. I find Message delivery is very slow to one message per min, but sometimes are very fast one message per 2 seconds

I am using andriod 5 long time before. This is stable fast delivery rate.

I find no error and no log in both SMSDEBUG.log and SMSout log when waiting for one minute to delivery

No retry appear in outbound sms queue and Queued message is very few below 5

Hi David

We've done a lot of testing with devices running Android 6 and 7, and have not noticed any such delays. There is a new release coming in the next two weeks, where we have done a lot of work on the Android connection, but this degree of performance variation is not something we have encountered.

Of course, sending performance varies considerably, based on mobile operator conditions and device processing speed. One of the devices I use for testing seems to fluctuate between LTE and 3G. When connected to LTE, it is very fast...when on 3G, it takes 10-20 seconds per message. Meanwhile, another 3G device on the same network takes 3-5 seconds per message.

One message per minute is excessively slow.

I would like to see logs to get a better idea of the precise timing and establish if there is a pattern. Please enable the SMSDEBUG.LOG. Note time periods when you experience an issue, and send me the SMSDEBUG.LOG. Email the SMSDEBUG.LOG to nowsms@nowsms.com with Attention: Des in the subject...and post a follow up here to remind me lo review the log.
