Can anyone tell me how to send a photo from this mobile to another mobile or to email a photo?.. I have NZ vodafone SIM card...says service unavailable when I try to send, and Vodafone says the phone is probably not configured correctly for use in NZ..does anyone know how or why this is happening | |||

Hi Lyn, I'm sorry, but this is the support forum for the Now SMS/MMS Gateway software product, so there is only limited assistance that I can offer you. Basically, I would agree with the advice that you have been given. In order to send MMS via a mobile operator, your phone needs to be configured with the appropriate MMS settings, which are specific to that operator. I'd suggest checking the mobile operator web site to determine the correct settings, and then the user manual for your phone (if you don't have a printed manual, check the phone manufacturer web site) to determine how to enter these settings into your phone's configuration. Unfortunately, the situation that you are experiencing is very common when using phones that are unlocked or that were originally configured for a different mobile operator. Another possibility is that you have not been provisioned for MMS access by your mobile operator ... but since you have already talked to them, I assume that they have checked this. -bn | |||
