After being away for a couple of days I have discovered some files in the MMSINQ dir that have the extension .bad I presume that these were messages that it didn't manage to receive from the operators MMSC, is it possible to get nowsms to retry them ? | |||

Hi Arne, Is there a "RetryCount=" parameter in the ".bad" files? If so, that will tell you how many times NowSMS tried to fetch the message before declaring it bad. Normally, a message would get marked bad if we tried for 24 hours and could not download the message. Or, if the server returned a "400" or "500" series error when we attempted to retrieve the message. You can rename the file back from ".bad" to ".q", and NowSMS will try to process it again. Before doing this, remove the FirstAttemptTime, LastRetryTime and RetryCount fields from the file. -bn |
