Hello, I am a customer of Now SMS/MMS Gateway v2006.10.16. For the last couple months the Now SMS/MMS software has been running perfectly, but in the last couple weeks an issue has occurred such that after around 7 minutes of starting the services I get the following error: Error Initializing SMSC Interface 'Sierra Wireless AirCard GPRS Model'. Interface is not available. When this previously occurred it would usually just require a couple restarts of the services before it worked again, but this time it is not happening. I have verified the interface is working on the system as expected using the AirCard Watcher program, where I can make phone calls, use data, and send SMS. If I disable the interface myself then the error message occurs within a minute and not the 7 for when the interface is indeed enabled. Please let me know if there is any sort of action I need to do in order to fix this, and to prevent it from happening again in the future. Thanks, Pat | |||

After upgrading the software to v2008.02.22 it still was not working. I then thought to myself "self, why not try removing the modem selection from Now SMS and try adding it back in", and there it was, back up and running. | |||
